1.
Ritual 06:25
Moon to my back Stars in your eyes Hands bound too tight Feet leave the ground Light the fire Make it higher Burn the liar Forest comes alive The Ritual Tie them up Tie them tight Dark takes light Forest comes alive The Ritual…
2.
Dogs 03:41
I hear the earth It calls my name There is no one left For me to blame Wretched creatures Take and they take Nothing left But dried up lakes Through the creeks Up the rocks I’ll leave my body For the dogs Crack the skies Let it rain Forever more Feel pain Howls get louder Impatience grows Amongst the spit and teeth I’ll find home
3.
Hard Luck 03:52
I would have taken every pill All the blood that you spilled Clouds of swirling black Clays of earth called you back Give me your hate Give me your pain Give me your hate I’ll take it all away
4.
Gloom 05:11
Crawling along Braid of twine Drawn to fragments Ragged breath Shattered mind The fly on the wall Is a slug on a six foot line Ushered to my final breath By one of my own kind As flesh rots It falls away Release thoughts My corpse remains I represent nothing Empty line, empty page
5.
Tide 06:40
Settling close, as I cease to breathe Lost without the cover of fallen leaves These faintly whispered words As I look at swinging feet Mountains of madness Circle the ocean Tide lays claim To any shred of belief Nothing left but the voice of pain Echoing lies to the legion slain Nothing beyond these rigid peaks But these barren obsidian plains Mountains of madness Circle the ocean Tide lays claim To any shred of belief Voices call me From feet below Calling me softly Calling me home Pain will bleach this endless night While the soul forgets the will to fight Crushed by the weight of heavy yoke Head too low to ever see the light
6.
Sanctuary 03:32
7.
Weightless 03:33
I see the stars Hope is fading fast Sparks fly by Shattered glass Twisted metal The smell of gas Tortured souls How long can it last? Reaper in the backseat Come, come and take me
8.
Devil's Head 09:55
Mouth full of locust Skin long turned hide These creatures by my side Refuse to let me die Collapse in frailty Watching the crows return my bones Wolves sing the story Of the return home The legion to Lazarus Calming the storm In the sea Of broken bones

about

It is an honour to be a part of the Calgary music scene, which has been the reason we are able to put forth this record after losing two previous releases due to circumstances out of our control. Thank you to the almighty Palomino Smokehouse, Arlen, Jared, Ryan, and the whole crew for putting up with us. Thank you, Chris and Jess, for constant soundboard wizardry. Liam at Wolves Den Sound, Pat at Public Lunch Studios; we wouldn’t have this without your skill and generosity. Thank you to Justin Weis at Trakworx, for mastering this into a mountain and Jesse, for guest vocals from another realm. Thank you to our families and friends for constant love and support. Most importantly, thank you to everyone who has come to a show, listened to us, or supported us in any way. Special thanks to everyone who came to the album fundraiser show. You are all directly the reason this is here. Thank you for the love, high fives, swishers and hugs. We’ll give you all we have in return.
